DreamHack Offers Festival Train Deal With Sweden’s SJ

DreamHack has teamed up with train operator SJ to offer a special train ticket for its Winter festival in Jönköping, Sweden. The ticket is designed to take attendees from Stockholm to the venue, and will be sold at different prices for adults, children/youth, and families. Financial terms between the two companies were not disclosed.

DreamHack Winter will be part of the gaming and esports event company’s 25th celebrations. According to the announcement, DreamHack and its partners will be offering travelers onboard gaming activities. 

SJ has been in operation for over 150 years, and on top of Swedish destinations, offers train routes to Scandinavian capitals Copenhagen and Oslo. DreamHack held its first festival at the city-owned Elmia venue in Jönköping in 2002, and recently agreed to continue holding events through 2022. Despite being the smallest city to host a DreamHack event, the Summer and Winter festivals usually attracting 50,000 visitors each.
