Runner up of Ru Paul’s Drag Race , Baga Chipz admitted to an X-Factor: Celebrity payment blunder after The Vivienne accused the show of not paying the drag queens.
The Vivienne took to her Twitter account, exposing X-Factor: Celebrity for paying last night’s performers but not the drag queens.
Vivienne claimed that fellow Ru Paul star, Baga Chipz had asked her to perform with her, during The Chase’s Jenny Ryan’s performance – but that show bosses had refused to pay the pair.
She also claimed that performers during the show were offered a fee, minus Baga and Vivienne.
Addressing her 60 thousand followers, The Vivienne said: “Was so honoured to be asked to perform on @TheXFactor this evening. However I decided not to.
“Until they realise that drag queens are artists who need also paying, I’ll politely decline.
“Everybody else will be getting paid apart from the drag queens? Not acceptable.”
She went on to tweet: “@ChipshopBird was kind enough to invite me to perform with her. But I believe artists should be paid. Especially by HUGE companies”.
However, Baga Chipz went on to confirm that she was, in fact, receiving a fee for her performance in the final.
Tweeting to her 67,000 followers, she replied to The Vivienne saying: “It was my mistake I’ve just had to sign a form… girls been paid.” along with laughing emojis.
After supporting her friend, Jenny, Baga tweeted: “And that is why I did @TheXFactor not just to support my beautiful mate @jenlion but for 3 drag queens to go on @ITV and show the globe that we are taking over the mother tucking universe.
“Jenny I love you… And what an ally… #TeamVixen” alongside three pride flags.
Jenny joined social media influencers, V5, YouTube stars Max and Harvey and reality TV star, Megan McKenna in the final.
Former TOWIE and Celebrity Big Brother star, Megan McKenna went on to win the show which saw her land a recording contract with Simon Cowell’s record label, Syco Entertainment.
