Dr Disresepct quits Call Of Duty: Warzone – ‘That’s it for me’

Call Of Duty: Warzone seems to have lost another high profile fan, or at least until the new Vanguard map is released.

Not for the first time, Dr Disrespect has said he will quit playing Call Of Duty: Warzone, as he became exasperated with the battle royale during his most recent stream.

Most of his complaints – and there have been a lot of them – come down to two main issues: what he perceives as the game’s lack of the speed and its undeniable problem with cheaters.

‘‘That’s it for me, man’ he said during a stream on Monday. ‘Get me off this f***ing game. Holy s***, what a snooze fest. I’m literally falling asleep. I don’t know if I can do this anymore. I am genuinely feeling like completely stopping until this new map comes out.’

‘I really think it’s never been this bad to play’, he said of the game. ‘I have no interest left, no enthusiasm. I’ve done it, seen it all, experienced it all in the game.’

Dr Disrespect, real name Herschel ‘Guy’ Beahm, has left Warzone multiple times before, to play the likes of Apex Legends, Overwatch, and Valorant, so there’s no reason to think that he won’t be back again this time.

The map he’s referring to, that might cause him to return, is the replacement for Verdansk that will be brought in to coincide with the release of Call Of Duty: Vanguard and its Second World War setting.

The new map will be set in the Pacific Theatre and Dr Disrespect has already offered some early praise of it, comparing it to a PUBG map.

While none of his previous rants have led to a permeant exit from the game, the issue of cheating is one many fans are getting fed up with, especially since cheaters became a problem even for the Vanguard open beta.

The Verdansk map has been around for a long while now but, like Fortnite, has seen numerous changes overtime, including an 80s makeover for Call Of Duty: Black Ops.

However, thanks to the pandemic, that arrived later than intended and its hoped the Pacific map will be much closer to the November release date of Vanguard.
