Donald Trump has said he is looking forward to his State Visit next week , and says there is one part of it that will be really “nice”.
As well as the Queen , President Trump and his wife Melania will spend time with Princes Charles, Camilla and some of the younger royals.
In a new interview with the Sun he has revealed there is one part of the trip he believes is very important – and it’s to do with his children.
Ivanka, Tiffany, Eric and Donald Jnr will join the couple for the trip, which begins on Monday, and their dad is keen for them to meet the “next generation” of Royals – Princes William and Harry.
He said: “I think my children will be meeting them. It would be nice.

“I’m bringing some of the family. They are going to be there and we will be greatly honoured by the trip.”
The President also spoke about the last time he visited the UK and his previous meeting with the Queen.
He said: “It will be great seeing the Queen for the second time.
“We had a very good talk the first one. We had a lot of interesting things to say. It really was a great visit.”
Even though he is expected to rub shoulders with most of the senior royals during the visit, it is believed that he will not meet Meghan Markle during his visit.

During the interview with the Sun, the Trump was asked about the negative comments she made about him before joining the royal family and he branded her “nasty”.
Meghan has been a vocal critic of the former reality TV star, backing his rival Hillary Clinton and suggesting before the 2016 election she would leave the US if he won.
Mr Trump said he was not aware of comments made by the duchess about him, and said: “I didn’t know that. What can I say?
“I didn’t know that she was nasty.”

When asked about the duchess suggesting she would leave America for Canada if he was elected, Mr Trump simply said that lots of people were moving to the US.
Mr Trump said LA-born Meghan will make “a very good” American princess, and said of her joining the royal family: “It is nice, and I am sure she will do excellently.
“She will be very good. I hope she does (succeed).”

As with last year’s visit, protesters are planning to take to the streets to make clear their opposition to the US leader and his policies.
Scotland Yard said it has an experienced team ready to lead the huge police and security operation.
The President said he was “really loved” in the UK despite the protests.
