Domhnall Gleeson puts on furious display while kicking his Land Rover as he films road rage scenes for Peter Rabbit 2 with co-star Rose Byrne
A year on from the release of the first Beatrix Potter classic, filming has commenced for the second installment of Peter Rabbit.
Actor Domhnall Gleeson, 35, was spotted giving his Land Rover a good kick during the filming of a scene which saw his vehicle break down in the middle of a road in Richmond, London on Sunday.
The actor was joined by co-star Rose Byrne, 39, who will be reprising her role as Bea, in the fantasy adventure film inspired by the much-loved British children’s book.

During the scene, Domhnall’s character, Thomas McGrego, appeared to be left in a bit of a pickle as the 4×4 vehicle he was driving in broke down on a busy road.
As drivers passed by, Domnhall was seen emerging from his car and erupting into an on-screen rage as he gave the front wheel of the car a frustrated kick.
During the scene the actor’s mic also appeared to fall out of his clothing as he became increasingly animated in his movement.
In another scene, cast mates Domhnall and Rose were seen driving through the streets of Richmond in a rather suave dark blue Aston Martin.

The sequel to the children’s classic Peter Rabbit will return the much-loved rebellious rabbit to our screens and see character’s Thomas and Bea resume their relationship after permitting the family of rabbits to live in their garden.
Actor David Oyelowo, who is known for his roles in Hollywood blockbusters such as Selma and Rise of the Planet of the Apes, will also be joining the cast for the second installment.
The filming of Peter Rabbit 2 comes after Rose, who is mother to Rocco, three, and Rafa, sixteen months, with husband and actor Bobby Cannavale, spoke about her ‘completely chaotic’ life as a mother.

Speaking to Who magazine, the actress had said: ‘[I’m] always like, “Don’t hit him!”, “Put down the thing!”, “It’s on fire!” or “You didn’t eat the pasta!”‘
‘I’m not by any means a completely in-control parent. I definitely am trying to put out fires all the time.’
Peter Rabbit 2 is set to hit our screens in 2020.
