Dolly Parton is a happily married woman but the country legend opened up about her surprising celebrity crush in a new interview.
Turns out the Jolene hitmaker has a thing for The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon.
Speaking to W Magazine, the 75-year-old star explained that she’s ‘always had good luck with late-night guys’.
She continued: ‘Well, I have a crush on Jimmy Fallon, but I’m big now, I can’t excuse myself on that. I think he is precious. He’s so funny. We get along so good.’
The 9 to 5 actress mused: ‘I guess there’s something about those late-night people that kinda hits my fancy and I hit theirs somehow.
‘I guess it’s ’cause you feel like you can be more free late at night. You don’t have to worry about what you say.’
The country music legend also spoke about her secret butterfly tattoos which she explained were used to cover up scarring.
She told W magazine: ‘I have a few little tattoos here and there but most of mine kind of came from me having a little body art because I’m very fair and I have a tendency to scar when I get any kind of cuts or whatever.
‘So I had a few little surgeries here and there for different things, and if the scars didn’t heal properly, then I just gotta put a few little tattoos around to take the sting out of that.’
Dolly explained: ‘I just have a few delicate ones, I don’t have the real heavy, dark tattoos. Mine are all pastel. And I have more than one!’
Most of her tattoos are butterflies or flowers, with Dolly revealing: ‘I have loved butterflies all of my life. They don’t sting, they don’t bite, and they are so beautiful…
‘I just loved them because they were colourful and gentle and I just kind of related to them with my own personality. I just kind of claimed them as my little symbol.’
The Islands In The Stream singer’s tattoos first became a talking point in the 90s, but their existence was confirmed in 2011 when her celebrity friends Roseanne Barr and Jennifer Saunders confirmed their existence to Craig Ferguson.
Roseanne revealed at the time: ‘Do you know who’s totally tattooed? I shouldn’t even tell this. Dolly Parton is totally tattooed.
‘She showed me. She’s got all these awesome tattoos all over her body. No black or blue lines. All pastel, gorgeous bows all over everything.’
