Dolan Twins to collab with Shane Dawson on ‘personal and important’ video

The Dolan Twins will be releasing a video with Shane Dawson, which the pair have labeled ‘personal and important’ – and fans have been speculating it’s got something to do with James Charles.

The twins – Ethan and Grayson Dolan – shared the news alongside shots of the pair having a serious chat with their fellow YouTuber.

‘Filmed something very personal and important to us. A message we’ve been wanting to share with you for a while now,’ Ethan wrote.

‘Thank you so much @shanedawson for having this conversation with us, you truly helped us so much.’

He later added: ‘This will be up next week. Thank you all for your patience.’

Sharing the 19-year-old’s tweet, Shane added: ‘Proud of you guys :,).’

While the pair haven’t revealed what the video is concerning, speculation has been rife, with some believing it will be about the way fans handled the news that the twins’ father had died back in January.

After the pair announced the tragic news that their father had passed away after a battle with cancer, they were forced to ask fans not to turn up to the funeral after it was revealed some viewers had been making plans to go.

Another theory is that they will be speaking about the drama surrounding James Charles after they were mentioned in text messages which were allegedly sent to the beauty guru from Jeffree Star.

After fellow YouTuber Tati Westbrook uploaded an exposé video on James, the internet turned on him – including his fellow internet stars.

With James hitting back in his own video, he screenshotted and shared text messages which appeared to be from his former friend Jeffree.

One of the messages read: ‘Grayson is going on camera shortly. To tell the world how you tried to molest him and touch him in his sleep. And made him uncomfortable for months, you sick motherf***er.’

In his video, James strongly denied the claims he had ‘molested’ Grayson.

He went on to say: ‘As disgusting as it is, I have to admit bringing up Grayson Dolan was pretty clever. At the height of all these allegations and stories going around, both of the twins unfollowed me, not wanting to be associated, and fans started speculating that the rumours could be as to why.

‘Too bad that, aside from our pre-planned collaborative jokes that happened in the Sister Squad videos of me and Grayson flirting, nothing ever happened between us and, when all of this went down, I knew Jeffree was lying because the twins were two of the first people to call me and make sure that I was okay.’

With Shane making it clear that he’s set to address the James drama in his upcoming series, which has already faced backlash, it’s definitely plausible.

Meanwhile, with Shane and Jeffree collaborating once again on a new series, The Beautiful World Of Jeffree Star, many have been questioning whether the pair should have their platform following years of controversies and apology videos.
