Beth underwent successful surgery for throat cancer in 2017.

The cancer returned last year and doctors removed a tumor from her throat after an emergency surgery in November.

At the time, their family attorney Andrew Brettler said that while the family was staying strong, the surgery was ‘serious.’

The Chapmans rose the ranks of reality television with their hit show based around the family bail bond business based in downtown Honolulu.

The A&E network first picked up the show in August 2004 and canceled the series after eight seasons in May 2012.

The power couple starred in a spin-off series, Dog and Beth: On the Hunt in August 2015, and a two-hour special called Dog and Beth: Fight of Their Lives just recently in November.
