DOG the Bounty Hunter’s new top job is apparently focusing on himself amid feuds over his new fiancé.
Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman is taking some time to deal with life off-camera as the future of his reality show is unknown.
Sources close to him tell TMZ they’re not sure of the future of his show “Dog’s Most Wanted.”
WGN’s No. 1-rated original series ran last season.
But with the network under new ownership, the prime time line up may be changing.
So the 67-year-old’s show is currently on hiatus.
This time of year is usually when he shoots the show.
However he’s still doing meet-and-greets- with his fans.
Dog’s also apparently been taking a lot of “me time” for self reflection and his favorite hobby, fishing.
His preferred fishing hole is said to be in Colorado.
Otherwise, he works with at-risk young people and still takes on bounty hunter cases.
He’s also focusing on his love life, recently proposing to his late wife’s friend Moon on the Dr. Oz show.
His wife Beth, 51, lost her battle to cancer this past June.
But just last week, he proposed to Moon during the Dr. Oz taping.
He said “There will never be another Mrs. Dog, but that doesn’t mean I have to be so sad.”
It turns out though, Dog actually proposed to Moon in September, long before the Dr. Oz show.
Production sources told TMZ: “he also told Moon he loved her and revealed he was talking to God in the bathroom during a break, and God told him he should propose.”
Meanwhile his daughter Lyssa, hasn’t taken the news so well.
She recently posted on Twitter about the engagement: “If someone who met your family by dating your brother, tried to date your father after your stepmom died what would you do? #WhatARealWomanLooksLike”
