Doctor reveals what women want men to do during sex

Dr Shahzadi Harper, an expert in menopause and hormonal changes affecting libido, has revealed what many women want to hear from their male partners in the bedroom.

Many couples are always on the hunt to explore ways they can heat things up in the bedroom.

And while the NHS suggests a list of good sex tips, which includes building anticipation, massaging and whispering to each other, the doctor has revealed what women sometimes wish for from their partners.

In an exclusive chat with Daily Star Online, Dr Harper said: “I think it depends on the situation but I think women like to do a lot more of the talking then men do during sex.

“I think they like to be asked what they want.

“I think they like the man to take control in many ways but be guided by what she says.

“But I think they create a scenario, I’ve heard women say they’ve brought blindfolds so that they’re not looking eye to eye, and then what they do it’s almost like a role reversal.

“So they’re in control and they’re showing him all the parts where they like to be touched.

“And this way, by not having to look at each other in the eye its almost enabling them to guide them to all the parts they want to be touched, how they want to be touched, even saying things like ‘pull my hair’ and ‘slap me harder’.

“They’re able to voice those fantasies that they have in their head that they’re able to share with him.”

Dr Shahzadi runs Harper Clinic on Harley Street, her areas of expertise include Menopause, polycystic ovarian syndrome, premenstrual stress disorder, healthy ageing and weight management.

Dr Harper also revealed her tips to ward off erectile dysfunction.
