DISNEYLAND Paris has cancelled their Marvel Season of Super Heroes “for now,” as the park remains closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The annual event was due to take place from March 28 until June 7.

During the season, guests can meet their favourite Marvel characters, including Captain Marvel and Groot, buy special Marvel merchandise, dine on Marve-themed snacks and watch Marvel interactive shows.
At the end of last week, Disneyland Paris announced that it was closing its doors indefinitely due to the spread of COVID-19.
Theme parks around the world are being affected by coronavirus due to rising cases, lockdowns and bans on large gatherings.
Disneyland Paris initially closed on March 15, following reports of three cases of coronavirus among staff.
At the time, bosses said that the theme park would stay closed until the end of the month.
However, they have now updated that information to say that the parks will remain closed until further notice.
A statement from the park confirms: “The safety and well-being of our Guests and employees remains Disneyland Paris’ top priority.
“As a result of this unprecedented pandemic and in line with government measures, Disneyland Paris will remain closed until further notice.”

If you have tickets that expire during the Parks closure, their validity date will be automatically extended until March 31st 2021. Please check the back of your paper ticket or refer to your e-ticket for validity date.
If you hold an e-ticket, you must download it before its initial expiration date, and then present it at the entrance to the Disney Parks on the day you visit.
If you have dated Group Tickets booked by group operators for a visit during the closure period, your tickets will either be cancelled and refunded or rebooked at the same price subject to availability for a new date of visit for the group operator. Please contact your group operator.

If you have booked a Disneyland Paris holiday package while the park is closed, you are being offered a voucher valid for 18 months for the full amount of payment already made for your booking.
Alternatively, any holiday until June 30, 2020, can be rebooked for any date until October 1, 2020, so long as the rebooking is made before May 15.

What is the latest travel advice for France?
Cases of coronavirus in France continue to rise as more than 40,174 have been confirmed and 2,606 people have died.
France is currently on lockdown, and on March 27, the French government extended the confinement period for at least a further two weeks, until April 15.
