Disney+, the House of Mouse’s new streaming service, is finally landing on UK shores next month. And it looks set to get off to a flying start, offering a veritable treasure trove of classic family entertainment, blockbuster movies, awesome National Geographic documentaries and exclusive new series, all available at the touch of a button.

With Disney+, you’ll have instant access to classic Disney animations, as well as being able to catch up with celebrated instalments from the Marvel and Star Wars universes so far, including The Mandalorian – the latest smash-hit series set in a galaxy far, far away. (That’s right, we’ll soon get to see what all the Baby Yoda fuss is about for ourselves…)

On top of all that, you can look forward to plenty of intriguing original TV shows over the next couple of years, including a plethora of new series set in the MCU and featuring some fan-favourite characters – including The Falcon And The Winter Soldier and WandaVision later in 2020, and a solo outing for Tom Hiddleston’s god of mischief Loki in early 2021. There’s also the prospect of Ewan McGregor’s long-awaited return to the Star Wars saga, reprising his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi in an upcoming spin-off.

That’s a lot to get excited about. And, even more exciting, Disney+ is offering an enticing pre-order deal ahead of the much-anticipated UK launch on 24 March – if you sign-up now, you’ll receive a whopping £10 off a yearly subscription, paying just £49.99 for 12 months’ worth of content (the launch price is £59.99 for an annual subscription or £5.99 for a monthly subscription).

Head on over to this Disney+ pre-order page, where you can sign up for this limited-time offer ahead of the streaming service’s impending UK kick-off.

Aside from the Marvel and Star Wars movies and shows, there’s a bunch of other cool content – both available from launch and in the pipeline – for your viewing pleasure. As well as all of the previous theatrical releases, Pixar fans can look forward to Toy Story shorts Lamp Life and Forky Asks A Question, and new TV series Monsters At Work, a chronological follow-up to Monsters, Inc.

There’s also a live-action remake of classic 1955 toon Lady And The Tramp (featuring a top-notch voice cast led by Tessa Thompson and Justin Theroux), as well as a whole host of Disney Channel original movies (you can find a full list of these here). And that’s not even counting that massive back catalogue of cinematic classics, including everything from Mary Poppins and The Sound Of Music to Treasure Island and Pirates Of The Caribbean. That’s a lot of bang for your buck.
