For those who are eligible, staying at the Shades of Green resort, which is just a short drive from the Magic Kingdom, can mean huge savings.

The resort is comparable to Disney Deluxe Resorts such as Disney’s Polynesian Resort, but prices start from just $124 (£96) a night for five people – making it an incredibly affordable option for families.

In comparison, the cheapest Disney Deluxe resort starts from £322 ($413.45) a night while Disney’s Polynesian Resort starts from £679 ($871.83) a night.

Shades of Green has 600 rooms, ranging from a standard room to a garden suite.

A swimming pool, a spa, tennis courts and playgrounds as well as a giant shopping outlet with 50 retailers are also available to guests.
