Design firm launches beer-fuelled brainstorming event for creatives and techies



Glasgow product design firm Filament is to launch a quarterly networking event for creative and tech professionals.

Each Silicon Swalley event – fuelled by craft beer and pizza – will tackle a topical theme around latest trends, opportunities and challenges posed by technology presents. Expert speakers will help ignite discussion during design thinking workshops.

 

Silicon Swalley 001 will feature highly respected London-based artist and designer Brendan Dawes and Nick Noble , strategic lead at IBM Watson Marketing, in support of AI automation platform Acoustic. They will be addressing the theme of Physical Digital Convergence.

The inaugural Silicon Swalley takes place at 6.30pm on 21st November, with tickets at £10 plus VAT. Beer and pizza will be laid on at Filament’s offices in Elliot Place, Skypark. The event is supported by Merchant City Brewing Co, Submarine and the National Lottery Fund.
