Debby Ryan shares photos from secret New Year’s Eve wedding to Twenty One Pilots’ Josh Dun

Debby Ryan has revealed that she and Josh Dun secretly tied the knot on New Year’s Eve after planning their wedding in less than a month, and has finally shared pictures from the big day.

The Insatiable star, 27, revealed she and her Twenty One Pilots drummer boyfriend, 31, planned their destination wedding in just 28 days before tying the knot in Austin, Texas as they rang in the new decade. 

Debby revealed she and Josh chose to plan their wedding in such a short time frame after a close friend passed away, telling Vogue: ‘It didn’t feel important to wait anymore, to stop being busy, or for things to line up perfectly.’

The actress chose an Elie Saab gown with an off-the-shoulder neckline and a long train to say her vows in, after being engaged since 2018. 

She revealed that she only met with a wedding planner at the start of December, explaining: ‘We had a long coffee meeting, and by the end of the night, we decided we could pull it off and set everything into motion.’

The ceremony itself sounded pretty magical, with Josh admitting: ‘I felt like it was game night at our house, and this was the ultimate game, and boy did I win! 

‘I remember every detail from how it felt to be walking down the aisle, to the full body chills I got watching Debby walk down toward me.’

Debby added that the reception only ended when the hotel needed their space back, revealing: ‘Finally, everyone dispersed into their hotel rooms or walked to spots on Rainey Street, but a ragtag handful ended up in our room, where we mostly played games and exchanged gratitude.’

She shared several photos from the big day on Instagram, the first time she has posted these publicly after keeping her nuptials secret for the past five months. 

The couple hadn’t announced their wedding to fans at the time, but shared some black and white photobooth pictures on Instagram from the day instead.
