Michelle Williams was the definition of glowing as she revealed her baby bump for the first time, on the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival.

The Dawson’s Creek actress, 41, recently confirmed that she is pregnant with her third child, her second with husband Thomas Kail.

The expectant mom looked incredible as she attended the premiere for her new film, Showing Up, at the annual event.

She opted for a long, patterned Chanel dress for the screening, showing off her bump in true style.

Michelle coupled this with dreamy matching flats from the same designer, and a diamond necklace.

The usually private actress sent fans into a spin when she revealed that she is set to expand her family with the Hamilton director, earlier this month.

She is already mom to son Hart with Thomas – who she welcomed in 2020, during the pandemic – and daughter Matilda, from her relationship with Heath Ledger.

The couple are known to keep their family life firmly behind closed doors, but she announced their baby news in a recent chat with Variety, insisting that their ‘good fortune’ had not been taken for granted.

‘It’s totally joyous,’ she said of her baby news. ‘As the years go on, you sort of wonder what they might hold for you or not hold for you.

‘It’s exciting to discover that something you want again and again, is available one more time. That good fortune is not lost on me or my family.’

In the candid interview, she also opened up about raising a young child during the pandemic, explaining that it helped her put things in perspective.

‘It was a reminder that life goes on,’ she continued. ‘The world we brought a baby into is not the world we thought we were bringing a baby into, but the baby is ignorant of that. He experiences the unmitigated joy of discovery and the happiness of a loving home.

‘There’s nothing that makes you committed to a better world than raising a great kid. It’s the ultimate creative act.’

Michelle and Thomas were first linked in 2019 after working together on Fosse/Verdon, and have kept much of their relationship under wraps.

They tied the knot the following year before welcoming their first child together.
