DAVID SILVA has told Pep Guardiola this will be his final campaign at Manchester City.
The Spanish veteran, 33, admitted: “This season will be my last one — ten years is enough.
“Initially they were talking about two more years but I decided to sign another one so I finished at ten years. It is the perfect time for me.
“It completes the cycle. It’s a nice round figure.”
The midfielder — who boasts 125 Spain caps — will bring bring down the curtain on one of the most successful careers in the Etihad club’s history.
During his years in Manchester, he helped City to four Premier League titles, two FA Cups, and four League Cups.
Silva, who signed a new one-year deal in March, joined from Valencia for £25million back in 2010.
He is yet to decide where he will play next, although he has hinted at joining hometown club Las Palmas.
The playmaker added: “I would like to do that but I just don’t know.
“Football changes. But I would love to finish my career here in Las Palmas one day.

“It depends on the team and the players. I cannot come here to play in the Second Division with this team. But sometimes you need to give something, so I don’t know.
“I can never see myself playing against City for another team.
“Not China. I don’t know. My girlfriend decides for me!”
