David Harbour thinks it would be ‘fun’ if 'Black Widow' was released online

David Harbour has thrown his support behind Black Widow being released online, although he openly admits that this is a decision that’s way above his pay grade.

Harbour, who will play the Red Guardian in the now delayed blockbuster, made the below remarks during a recent Q&A session on Instagram, via the Independent, about his career and upcoming films.

“My publisher also sent me an email saying Black Widow had been postponed and I think I replied ‘shocker.’ Wouldn’t it be fun if we all could just stream it? But that’s above my pay grade.”

As everyone will be very much aware, Marvel made the decision to delay the release of Black Widow after most cinemas around the world were closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Originally scheduled to hit theaters on May 1, 2020, Marvel are still yet to actual name the new release date for Black Widow.

It’s getting harder and harder to see exactly when Black Widow is going to make it to the big-screen too, as so many other movies,  including No Time To Die, A Quiet Place Part II, F9: The Fast Saga, Mulan, The New Mutants, and Spiral, are now looking for new release dates. Plus, we’re still not even sure when movie theaters will actually be open again.

Unfortunately for Harbour and Marvel fans eager to see Black Widow, Kevin Feige and the studio are unlikely to fulfill his wish, as it wouldn’t make anywhere near the same amount if it was released online as it will when it eventually hits cinemas.
