David Beckham spent some quality family time with his kids on a fun day out to the Universal Studios Hollywood.

Home to a number of film’s most iconic characters, footballer David enjoyed the half term break at the Los Angeles theme park with his second oldest son Romeo and daughter Harper.

Inside the park, the trio met Minions, Simpsons characters and even a vampire, with David writing: ‘I wonder what they are talking about’ as Romeo spoke to the Halloween figure in the ultimate dad-on-Instagram move.

However, it was the Harry Potter-themed attractions which eight-year-old Harper made a beeline for, heading up towards Hogwarts castle to enter the magical wizarding world and get in the Halloween spirit.

A huge Harry Potter fan, Harper had the full Hogwarts experience as she entered the wand shop, where she had a consultation with the witch on hand to choose her magical implement.

She was told that the wand chooses someone who ‘values friendship very highly, someone creative, able to see positivity and solutions where others don’t.’ Not a bad review!

Looking cute in pigtails and round-framed glasses, Harper looked enthralled as she was sized up for her wand, with David writing: ‘This is the sweetest’ before later posing with the array on display.

Stopping for a photo with the Hogwarts Express conductor outside, Harper and David then went on one of the park’s roller coasters together, with Harper actually keeping way calmer than expected (or than we would be) while her dad filmed them as they looped upside down.

With the three posing in their matching white T-shirts outside the park, David wrote: ‘Fun day today at Universal Studios @romeobeckham #HarperSeven.’

Romeo later reshared the post with the caption: ‘Amazing day at universal ♥️ p.s I’m officially taller than my dad.’
