David and Harper Beckham hang out with the ‘Spice Girls’ as they enjoy Legoland day out

David Beckham and daughter Harper appeared to be making the most of the Easter break as they enjoyed a fun-filled day out at Legoland California.

The former footballing pro shared a selection of heart-warming pictures from their trip as he and the seven-year-old made the most of all the photo opportunities that the San Diego based attraction has to offer.

The pair kicked off their visit by posing for a sweet father-daughter snap at the park’s gates, then headed off to Legoland’s Block of Fame, where figures from history and pop culture have been immortalised in Lego bricks.

Harper stopped for a photo alongside a brick-based likeness of Queen Elizabeth II, before the duo sat down alongside five statues which David had mistakenly identified as the Spice Girls.

Noting the figures’ striking resemblance to Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Geri Horner and his wife Victoria, Beckham captioned his Instagram Story post: “Actually thought it was the Spice Girls but apparently not.”

Sharing a photo of his daughter behind bars in a Lego jail, the sporting star later joked “Harper needed a little rest.”

Other clips posted on David’s Instagram stories showed him and Harper exploring the Legoland aquarium, posing in the stocks at the Castle Lock-up and being whirled through the air on a rollercoaster.

He later shared a photo of his daughter looking sleepy after the action-packed trip, captioning it: “I think I either bored Harper to sleep or we just had the busiest and best day ever.”

Before signing off for the night, the 43-year-old gave followers a preview of their Legoland accommodation, which featured a four-poster ‘Princess’ bed for Harper.

Beckham is also a dad to Brooklyn, 20, Romeo, 16, and Cruz, 14.
