Darren Day has split from his wife Stephanie Dooley after 12 years of marriage.
The 51-year-old Holby City star has had a reputation for being a love rat after a series of affairs but it is has been reported that no one else is involved in their break up.
Steph, 43, who starred in The Royal, has confirmed that Darren has moved out of their home.
The split has come just two years after the couple renewed their vows after ten years of marriage.
It is understood that the couple have now started divorce proceedings.

Darren has gained a reputation for being a ‘love rat’ and has been labelled a ‘notorious womaniser’.
He had topped a list of Britain’s number one love rat for seven years, between 1999 and 2006 before meeting Steph and marrying her in 2007.

His tumultuous love life has seen him propose to actress Anna Friel, only to then give the £30,000 engagement ring to his next fiancée, former Coronation Street star Tracy Shaw.
When they split, he hooked up with Isla Fisher.
In 2005, Darren infamously cheated on his then partner Suzanne Shaw and then walked out on her and their three-month-old son.
A spokesman for Steph has said that she split from Darren last year and earlier this month she shared a series of emotional posts in which the quotes hailed single parents.
