Danny Rose closes on Tottenham exit with Paris Saint-Germain eyeing £20million transfer

Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Danny Rose from Spurs .

The England defender, 29, has been left out of his club’s pre-season tour of Singapore with Spurs willing to listen to offers for him.

Spurs want at least £20million for Rose, who was signed from Leeds for just £1million 12 years ago.

The left-back still has two years left on his contract and Spurs do not want to find themselves in a similar position to the one they are in with Christian Eriksen and Toby Alderweireld , both of whom have just one year left on their contracts and are refusing to sign a new one.

The north Londoners are finally ready to move for 19-year-old Ryan Sessegnon as Mauricio Pochettino steps up his transfer plans.

Sessegnon, who can operate in multiple positions down the left flank, looks set to leave Fulham this summer after they were relegated back to the Championship , one year on from winning promotion back to the Premier League .

The 19-year-old could prove to be a long-term successor for Rose at left-back for Tottenham having played there for the Cottagers.

Rose, meanwhile, is set to see his Spurs career come to an end this summer after being left out of their squad for their pre-season trip to the Far East.

Tottenham confirmed the reason behind the 29-year-old’s absence was to allow the England international to ‘explore prospective opportunities with other clubs’.

Rose initially broke into Tottenham’s first-team as a left winger and scored a sensational half-volley against fierce rivals Arsenal in 2010.

Then manager Harry Redknapp began the process of converting Rose into a full-back a year later, with the 29-year-old going on to become a mainstay in the Spurs defence.

However, the England international has been regularly linked with a move away in recent years and it seems his departure is increasingly imminent.
