Dani Dyer has been slammed for going between her flat and her parents’ home despite lockdown laws.

The Love Island star is self-isolating with her on-off boyfriend Sammy Kimmence, and shared a snap from her abode as recently as yesterday.

However, she’s also been regularly visiting her parents Danny and Jo – who live nearby – throughout the past two weeks.

Dani, 24, has been urging her followers to stay inside all week, writing: ‘stay home, stay safe.’

In another post, she added: ‘Love you all and hope you are all keeping safe and enjoying the sun (hope it lasts) xx.’

So fans were baffled to see the reality star splitting her time between two different homes.

One follower wrote: ‘It’s frustrating that others don’t seem to think the rules apply to them.’

Another added: ‘Stay at home? Unless you are you & you travel between homes?’

A third posted: ‘She’s isolating at her home with her bf. yet still going to her parents down the road. Yet tells everyone to stay at home. ? Figure that one out.’

On March 26, Dani shared a snap of herself dancing with her mum Jo in her parents’ garden.

Three days later, the reality star filmed herself enjoying a roast dinner at their home and added snaps from her parents’ kitchen on April 3 and last Wednesday.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, the ITV2 star filmed herself and and her mother setting up an Easter egg hunt at her parents’ pad.

The backlash comes after Dani reportedly got back with Sammy just four weeks after their split.

According to The Sun, the pair have been having ‘cosy dinners’, arguing less and talking about their future, with Sammy ‘pulling out all the stops’ to win Dani round.

Sources said: ‘Dani and Sammy’s split was a shock, but she felt the trust had gone and that he was bringing her down.’

What does self-isolation mean?

Self-isolation means staying indoors and avoiding all contact with other people for 14 days, according to the NHS.

It means no going to work, school, the shops or even to the park for some fresh air, in order to minimise the risk of passing on Covid-19.

Public transport and taxis are a no-no and you shouldn’t have visitors over, even if you just stay at home.

Anyone in self-isolation is advised to ask friends, family and delivery drivers to pick things up for you and drop them-off. You should put a sign outside telling people you are self-isolating and everything should be left on the floor outside your front door to avoid the risk of further infections.

Those who are self-isolating are still advised to stay away from their pets as much as possible and to wash their hands before and after touching them.

If you live in a house share and have to self-isolate, the advice is to stay in your room with the door closed and only emerge to use communal kitchens, bathrooms and living areas if absolutely necessary.

Who should self-isolate?

The government advises anyone returning from Category 1 areas (Hubei, Iran, Italy and Daegu or Cheongdo in South Korea), to go straight home and self-isolate, even if they don’t display any symptoms.

Travellers should use the 111 online coronavirus service to find out what to do next.

Anyone returning from Category 2 areas should self-isolate and call 111 if they have Covid-19 symptoms. You can find the list of those places here.

They added: ‘Since going into lockdown, Sammy has been pulling out all the stops to make Dani give their relationship a second chance.’

Last month, it was revealed that Dani and Sammy had split after 10 months together due to ‘weeks of tensions’.

Sources told MailOnline that Sammy’s upcoming court case had put ‘a lot of strain’ on their relationship.

The 23-year-old appeared in court in February accused of conning two victims aged 80 and 90 out of £34,000 by posing as a financial investor.
