Dani Dyer has confirmed she had no idea her ex Jack Fincham was to father a child until he made the announcement today.
Former pen salesman Jack stunned his Instagram followers by revealing he’d had a baby girl with a mystery woman just ten months after he and Dani broke up.
In rather awkward timing, Dani was scheduled for press interviews hours later for the paperback release of her book, What Would Dani Do?
As she appeared on Rylan Clark-Neal’s BBC Radio 2, the host quizzed Dani about the bombshell announcement from her ex partner.

Rylan kicked off their chat by saying: “We do need to say… we’ll say congratulations. That is your ex Jack Fincham.”
Dani then added “Yeah, one hundred per cent. I mean, everyone loves a baby.”
Rylan, a reality TV star in his own right went, on: “I’ve got to ask you, we’re friends, it’s probably just by chance and quite coincidental that you’re on my show today and this news has come out, I’m sure that you’ve had a million messages from people and we know that you’ve got your lovely boyfriend now and you’re in a really happy relationship now but people are going to want to ask questions.”
Host Rylan then asked: “Did you know this news was coming?”
Dani, who is back with her ex, cried back: “No! Of course I didn’t! No! No news. When everyone else found out, I found out.”
A source previously told OK! that Dani had been suspicious about Jack and the baby’s mother towards the end of their relationship.
They added that Dani had initially been hurt by the news but has since decided she just wants her former boyfriend to be happy.
The insider said: “When Dani found out Jack was going to be a dad she was a bit upset about it because she did the math.
“She realised that he must have got her pregnant pretty soon after she and him had split, so he moved on quickly.

“Dani also knows who the baby’s mother is and she had her suspicions while she was still with Jack that something was going on between them.”
They claimed that jack had known the woman for some time so Dani suspected things could have overlapped.
“The thing is Dani has been working so hard and feels in a good place with her life so she’s not actually bothered now about the news.
“If anything she’s happy that Jack’s happy and wishes him luck in the future,” the source continued.
