Dani Ceballos would prefer to join Real Betis on loan next season rather than stay at Arsenal, according to reports.

Estadio Deportivo claim Ceballos is prepared to go out on loan again next season and has already selected Real Betis as his No.1 option.

Ceballos began his career at Real Betis and was snapped up by Los Blancos in 2017 after making a name for himself at the La Liga side.

Arsenal are keen to keep hold of Ceballos and blocked his attempts to make an early exit from the club in January.

Ceballos has since broken back into the Arsenal squad after impressing Mikel Arteta and the Gunners are keen on a permanent deal.

However, the 23-year-old sees Real Betis as the ideal option if Real cannot guarantee him a regular place next season.

The 2020/21 season is set to be a big campaign for Ceballos with the European Championships moved to next summer due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Ceballos’ current deal may have to be extended with football suspended and expected to resume during the summer.

The Spaniard’s loan deal expires at the end of June and the Premier League are planning to play postponed games in July.
