Karamo Brown has deleted his Twitter account following criticism from fans after he called Sean Spicer a ‘nice guy.’

Earlier this week the Queer Eye cast member made comments about Trump’s former press secretary, who is set to appear alongside Brown as one of the celebrity contestants in new Dancing With the Stars.

Speaking to Access Online, Bringing up the former member of the Trump Administration, the culture expert said: ‘Let me tell you something. Sean Spicer and I have been talking.

‘I was most excited to meet him. The thing is that people would look at us and think that we’re polar opposites but I’m a big believer that if you can talk to someone and meet in the middle, you can learn about each other and help each other both grow.’

Brown’s comments caused a Twitter storm of fury, with many disappointed.

Brown added: ‘And so we have been chatting all day today. He’s a good guy. Really sweet guy.’

He later responded to fan backlash to his comments about Spicer on Twitter, saying: ‘First, I have no say who is on the cast and didn’t find out till this morning that he is on!

‘But I’ll tell you this… I’m excited to sit down w/ him and engage in a respectful conversations. Only way things get better is if we try to educate those who have different POV than us.’

Journalist Evan Ross Katz said Brown’s words were immoral, prompting him to respond on Twitter – and then delete said comment.

He initially replied: ‘I honestly can’t stand people like you who post things like this…just to flame the fire and get a reaction.

‘We fight harder than you’re a** ever has for people of colour and members of the LGBTQIA community.’

Soon after he deleted the comment, and then his Twitter account.

Fans were so upset by Spicer’s involvement yesterday, they started a #BoycottDWTS hashtag on social media.

Karamo Brown’s rep has been contacted for comment.
