Dancing On Ice's Vanessa Bauer heads to training with Joe-Warren Plant

They’re preparing to head out onto the ice early next year.

And Vanessa Bauer was seen making her way to another gruelling training session with Joe-Warren Plant in Blackpool on Monday, ahead of their Dancing On Ice debut.

The professional ice skater, 24, looked sensational as she showed off her abs in a grey crop top while heading to the rink with the Emmerdale star, 18.

Vanessa slipped into a pair of dark pink leggings that accentuated her slender legs, and complemented her look by wearing a puffy pink jacket.

She finished off her ensemble by stepping out in white lace-up trainers and kept her personal items in a black shoulder bag. 

The brunette beauty wore her long locks in a sleek, straight style, and she added a glittering touch to her outfit with gold hoop earrings and a star necklace. 

Joe-Warren, meanwhile, kept his look simple as he donned a black hoodie over a pair of black shorts and leggings for the training session.

In September, Joe-Warren, who plays Jacob Gallagher on the soap, said he was ‘excited’ about the prospect of appearing on the show, as he revealed his character will be taking a six month break from the ITV soap. 

Speaking to co-hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield after the announcement on This Morning, he said: ‘I’m super excited. I’m glad I have the time off Emmerdale to really focus on training…

‘Just to try my best and learn a new skill. It’s a new challenge, I’ve never done anything like it before, so super excited.

When asked about the show’s iconic costumes, he added: ‘I can’t wait. I love getting dressed up, fancy dress parties, it’s all part of the fun.’

But the star hasn’t had as much time to wear his boots in as he could have done – because he accidentally got his shoe size wrong.

He said: ‘I’ve been trying to get them moulded to my feet so they don’t hurt and rub when I’m training. But we actually had a problem with them.

‘They were asking about my shoe size and me being an idiot, I told them the wrong shoe size. So I went to try the skates on and they were just way too big for me. I needed a size down.

‘I got them sent to me the other day and since then I’ve been trying to wear them in a bit.’

While the star is taking six months off from Emmerdale, he will be back as Jacob when the character returns from Portugal.
