Dancing on Ice: Semi-final rocked by coronavirus fears as show takes drastic action


There are now 19 cases now reported in the UK with 36 schools currently closed but there are now fears that the virus could reach the Dancing on Ice studio in Hertfordshire. 

The associate creative director on the skating show Dan Whiston has admitted that he doesn’t want to ‘panic’ people, but there have been drastic changes behind the scenes and there are emergency procedures in place. 

Dan Whiston told The Sun: “We’ve got an amazing medical team. We’ve got an amazing production team that are all over this kind of stuff.

“There is hand sanitiser everywhere and procedures have been put in place to protect the cast and crew, so I know they’re all over that.
