Dancing on Ice 2022 – Shock as Alison Hammond CLASHES with Shaun Ryder backstage telling him ‘I never liked you’

Brendan Cole ‘strong contender’ for final already

Body language expert Darren Stanton analyses the first six celebrities to take to the ice during Sunday night’s Dancing On Ice launch show on behalf of Betfair Casino.

He reveals who has got what it takes to reach the final after just one week and which stars are at risk of being forced to hang up their skates.

Speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino, Darren reveals:

“Immediately it was clear to see the high level of connection between Brendan and Vanessa. It’s clear they have worked incredibly hard on their dance that opened Sunday night’s launch show and spending those months in training has led to the duo becoming very close already. We as humans have several types of closeness we reserve for certain relationships, like friends, family or romantic partners, and it’s difficult to gain this level of connection overnight.

“Already, Brendan and Vanessa are very strong contenders to make it through to the final and both dancers are definitely on the same page and completely confident in their ability on the ice. The deep rapport they have built exploded across the screen and the pair wore similar facial expressions, displaying genuine smiles of enjoyment.”

He added: “Following their dance, when Vanessa explained how proud she was of Brendan she touched his knee – a gesture he reciprocated, something in psychology we call pace and lead worship which helps to establish trust and influence between two people. There’s already a strong bond between Brendan and Vanessa and it’s helped propel them to the top of the leaderboard.”
