Dan Osborne leaves event to watch wife Jacqueline Jossa on I'm A Celebrity on his phone in his car

Dan Osborne was seen leaving an event in Manchester early on Thursday night so he could get back and watch his wife Jacqueline Jossa on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

But the former TOWIE hunk, 28, clearly couldn’t wait to get home to see the latest instalment of the ITV reality series, as he was snapped watching it on ITV Hub on his phone in his car.

His actress wife Jacquline, 27, has been apart from Dan and their two children, Ella, four, and Mia, 17 months, for nearly two weeks already, flying over to Australia several days before actually heading into the jungle.

And she was seen getting upset on Thursday’s show, pining for her family and getting tearful.

Dan watched the scenes intently from the driver’s seat of his car, clearly not willing to wait to drive home first.

Jacqueline has had a tricky first few days on the show, struggling through a Bushtucker Trial and getting upset about their lack of a decent shower.

And the tears flowed for the former EastEnders starlet once again as she revealed she was missing Dan and their daughters.

In the midst of opening up about her struggle to adjust to life in the Australian jungle away from her Essex-based family, the EastEnders star also bemoaned the fact that she and her campmates ‘stink’, thanks to sweltering heat and limited facilities.

Emotions were expressed first thing in the morning, when Jacqueline woke up teary-eyed, saying in the Bush Telegraph: ‘I just woke up feeling a bit like… when you’re just looking up at pure jungle and you think, “Wow, I’m so far away from home.”‘

Fellow contestant Ian Wright took a seat beside the actress and comforted her as she cried, reassuring her she won’t always be away from her family.

Jacqueline later confessed: ‘The thing is, everyone is missing their families. I just feel like it’s too soon to be crying missing your family… and we all smell so bad, we just stink, I stink, the smelliest I’ve ever been in my life.’

The campmates clearly shared the same sentiment on the musky odour permeating their temporary home, as they all commented on how much they stunk.

Jacqueline’s teary moment was aired two nights after she was seen weeping hysterically as she struggled her way through a Bushtucker Trial.

The actress was left quivering with trepidation during the Face Your Fears challenge, and had to be comforted by her campmates as she completed the task.

At the start of Tuesday’s show, it became clear that jungle life was getting to Jacqueline, as she admitted that without a proper bath she was already ‘stinking’.

As she relaxed, the mother-of-two complained that she had lost her toothpaste, and said in the Bush Telegraph: ‘Nowhere to bath or wash, I stink, I’m smelling now, I’m hungry, the list goes on – this life is not for me, screw you Snake Rock.’

Unimpressed by Jacqueline’s complaining, former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner said: ‘You sound like one of my kids.’

Later in the show, Jacqueline was forced to overcome her fear of spiders during the Bushtucker Trial Face Your Fears.

The star was left in floods of tears after learning she would have to place her head inside a glass ball, and her hands in a box filled with the creatures.

Far away: Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, Jacqueline said, 'I just woke up feeling a bit like... when you’re just looking up at pure jungle and you think, "Wow, I’m so far away from home"'

She nervously wept: ‘I feel like this is too soon to cry but I’m going to cry.’

As she became the final star to face her challenge, she admitted that her worst fear had been brought out through the spiders.

Eventually the star managed to complete the challenge and earned her maximum two stars, but she was visibly shaken as the helmet was removed and all the bugs were brushed off her.

As Jacqueline was comforted by her campmates she continued to weep hysterically, but eventually calmed down as the celebrities learned they had won seven stars for the camp.

Jacqueline has struggled to adjust to camp life since she moved into Snake Rock as one of the losing Power Pairs.

But she was presumably delighted when the Snake Rock stars were finally able to move into the Main Camp.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues on Friday at 9pm on ITV.
