A dad has shared his cheap hack for ensuring his daughter follows him around when in public.

TikTok user @houghton.family showed how the dad sticks a bubbles-producing toy down the back of his shorts to get his kids attention.
They uploaded a video showing their delighted daughter happily following the trail of bubbles produced from the Little Mermaid-themed toy.
The dad said: “When you spend 15 minutes dragging your crying toddler through the zoo, only to realise you could have been doing THIS all along.”
They added in the caption: “Parenting 101.”
The sweet video has racked up over 700,000 likes and many parents seemed impressed with the easy and fun idea.
