Cyberpunk 2077 deep dive gameplay video released – watch it here

Cyberpunk 2077 – see what was hiding behind E3’s closed doors

CD Projekt has released an edited version of their Cyberpunk 2077 demo from E3 and Gamescom and it looks as amazing as you’d expect.

As promised, CD Projekt has released a cut-down version of their hands-off E3 demo, showing parts of a mission in the Pacifica area of Night City.

The video is taken from the same demos we saw at E3 and Gamescom (which, unlike last year, were almost exactly the same) but rather than running for 40 minutes the public version of the video is just over 14 minutes long.

You can still get the gist of the mission though, which involves a bit of first person motorbike riding at the start and then an infiltration mission at a mall that’s been overtaken by steroid-abusing cyborgs.

CD Projekt has been very reticent about showing off too much footage in public and took a long while before they released last year’s E3 demo online.

They said at the time that they didn’t want fans going over the footage with a fine toothcomb and complaining when the final product didn’t match up exactly.

The footage was recorded in 1080p and upscaled to 4K, to utilise YouTube’s higher bitrate for 4K videos.

It’s not specified what format it’s running on but previously CD Projekt has insisted on using only a relatively modestly powered PC.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on 16 April, 2020. It’s also coming to Stadia, but there’s no release date for that yet.
