Curtis Pritchard girlfriend: The subtle Instagram hint for Maura – will he propose?

Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins have just celebrated six months together after the cute couple met on ITV’s Love Island last summer. The pair coupled up after Curtis’ relationship with fellow contestant Amy Hart ended in heartbreak when she left the villa after discovering Maura was in to her now-ex beau.

While they didn’t make it official right away, it was clear Curtis only had eyes for Maura and was was keen to lock her down.

The Greatest Dancer star bided his time before asking Maura to be his girlfriend officially, saying he didn’t want to rush their relationship.

He said at the time: “I want something that’s going to last forever.

“There’s no point in rushing thing. We’ve only known each other a short amount of time.”

“He asked and I said yes obviously,” added Maura. “He took me away for a weekend break, and he asked me out over dinner in London the next day.”

The pair have seemed loved up ever since, posting sweet tributes to each other on social media.

Despite their hectic schedules, the duo still make time for one another.

And this Valentine’s Day was no exception, as Curtis posted an adorable, heartfelt tribute to his girlfriend on Instagram.

He wrote: “Happy valentine’s day to this little button nose.. cant wait to see you later … @maurahiggins you are a incredible person #loveyou.”

The sweet caption was posted alongside a series of images, including one of the smitten couple as they cuddled up close.

But it was one of the hashtags that sparks a fan frenzy, when one fan commented saying she had never seen him say ‘love you’ before to Maura, so they may have only just started to say it to each other.

The subtle message shows just how serious their new relationship is – despite claims of a ‘showmance’.

In a recent interview with Heat, Maura said “things couldn’t be better” between her and Curtis.

She said: “Things are going really, really well. We’re not living together, but we see each other as much as we can.”

And it seems thing could get even better for their relationship.

Last year, Maura announced she had met a psychic, saying: “I met this psychic who claimed Curtis would propose to me within six months.”

Could we hear wedding bells very soon in a Love Island wedding?
