CS:GO circuit Champion of Champions Tour partners with BitSkins

CS:GO skin marketplace BitSkins has become a partner of the Champion of Champions Tour (CCT), a global circuit taking place through 2022-2024.

BitSkins branding will be present across every CCT match on its English-speaking broadcast. Moreover, the marketplace will provide exclusive offerings to viewers of the circuit. 

The Champions of Champions Tour is a new global CS:GO circuit jointly organised by multiple tournament operators within the scene. This includes FACEIT, Eden Esports, Relog Media, Black Molly Entertainment, Fantasyexpo, among other regional organisers. The circuit was commissioned by esports data platform GRID Esports.

According to a release, both CCT and BitSkins will create a range of collaborative content, with the deal focusing on ‘actively involving the community’.

“We are committed to building a sustainable ecosystem across multiple tiers and are thrilled to partner with BitSkins to deliver the best fan experience to Champion of Champions Tour viewers.”

The Champion of Champions Tour boasts a prize pool of $3.4m (~£2.76m), with the circuit set to commence in July 2022.  The first stage will comprise of regional tournaments that feature cycles of Open Qualification. Ultimately the circuit will lead to the CCT Global Finals LAN event, to be held in 2024.

In the release, BitSkins’ CEO Anna Zamorniak-Urbaniak also highlighted that CCT’s vision to enable the growth of new talent was a factor in its partnership with the circuit. Earlier this month, the skin marketplace also sponsored the Pinnacle Cup Championship, which took place at the Sparbanken Skåne Arena in Lund, Sweden.

This is the Champion of Champions Tour’s first official sponsor since the circuit was announced in May 2022.
