Coutinho would "love to come back" to the Premier League amid Liverpool links

Philippe Coutinho would “love to come back” to the Premier League.

That’s according to the Brazilian’s agent Kia Joorabchian, who added “everything is a possibility” while discussing his client’s future.

Coutinho is currently on loan at Bayern Munich, who have the option to sign him permanently at the end of the season.

The German giants have no plans to exercise this option, but Coutinho is not in Barcelona manager Quique Setien’s plans for next season, meaning he will likely be on the move again when the summer transfer window opens.

A return to the Premier League has been suggested, with Liverpool,Manchester United,Arsenal,Chelsea and Tottenham all linked with the 27-year-old.

And Joorabchian hasn’t ruled out the possibility that Coutinho could sign for any of the aforementioned clubs, as he “loved” playing in England.

“Everything is a possibility. After the Champions League game he played in England we had a long chat about it,” Joorabchian told Sky Sports.

“The Premier League is something that he has always enjoyed playing in, and loved playing in, and would probably love to come back and play in.

“The question is what are going to be the financial conditions of all the clubs, including Barcelona and all the Premier League clubs at the end of this pandemic.”

Coutinho joined Barcelona in a £142million transfer from Liverpool

Coutinho left Liverpool for Barcelona in a £142million transfer in January 2018.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp recently spoke out on the move on the Pure Football Podcast: “I really respected Phil’s switch from the first second.

“Not that I do that all the time but it felt oh wow that could be difficult.

“So it’s not about yes we signed a new contract so many weeks before that but it was really clear he would not have asked me for any other club but for this club, there was no chance.

“Then we had to be hard in the summer because we had no other solution. We lost Adam Lallana [to injury] in that time as well, we would have lost two players.

“That’s not possible, you cannot solve that on the transfer market.

“He was open to that [staying] and that was really cool. Then you have to be fair in the window and say we can do it, we don’t like it but we can do it.”
