Courtney Act has revealed she would turn down the opportunity to appear on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars if approached.

The performer was a runner up in the sixth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, which saw Bianca Del Rio crowned.

But diehard fans hoping to see the Aussie strut her stuff on the main runway once again have another thing coming, as Courtney isn’t interested in competing on the show.

Speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk, Courtney said: ‘I have not been approached. I haven’t had the opportunity to decline.

‘I love Drag Race so much, I loved being on it and I love watching All Stars, but I would decline because I’ve worked so hard to build up my career and what I do and it’s very important to me.’

She continued: ‘I think Drag Race gives you a limited view of people and you have to hand over your image into somebody else’s hands to take care of and I think I’ve worked really hard to carve out who and what I am and I just don’t know if I’d feel comfortable handing it back over to them.’

Courtney will be touring her pop cabaret show Fluid in the UK and Europe next year.

‘It’s all about gender and sexuality through my own experience and the realisation that we put things into two categories all the time and really, it’s actually a lot more fluid than that,’ Courtney told us.

‘We’re not one thing all the other. We’re usually a combination of both and on a spectrum of it.’

She added: ‘I started writing in August last year. I wrote all of the music for it which is the first time I’ve ever done something like that.

‘The music was so personal and it just worked so much better. It just feels like it’s definitely the best show I’ve ever done and I just love performing it.’

Courtney Act’s tour Fluid will take place in April 2021 and visit 11 cities across the UK and Ireland, including the London Palladium
