BRILLIANT BARBECUES: Try Iceland when stocking up for your al fresco dining. The BBQ bumper packs are particularly great — you can get a chicken selection or a variety pack of chicken drumsticks, burgers and sausages for £5. Similar BBQ selections cost £17 at Waitrose.

LIKE A PRO: Poundland is fantastic for taking your BBQ or camping trip to the next level. You can nab fry trays and burger boxes for £1 a pack. Other extras include burger presses (for making your own), BBQ cleaning tools, meat thermometers and corn-on-the-cob skewers for £1 each.
