According to his statement, released on Sunday, they informed friends and fans of the sad passing, thanking everyone for their support.

The family had only celebrated little Haven’s second birthday a little over a month ago, with photos posted to social media of the girl at her party.

Alongside the sweet image on Ned’s Instagram, he wrote on 16 September: ‘Turned the big #2today! Happy to be home for this special day. What a character this one ?’

It was previously reported by Taste Of Country the family’s statement originally included details of emergency services arriving at their house.

It allegedly read: ‘Paramedics were called to the family’s northeast Kansas home on October 20th and arrived quickly, but attempts to resuscitate her were unsuccessful.’

Ned and Morgan also share a son, Branson.
