WHOLESALE warehouse chain Costco has slashed the price of its giant 2kg tins of Quality Street – just in time for Christmas.
The massive tub of sweets was originally priced at £11.62, but customers can now pick one up for £8.38.
That marks a saving of £3.24 and a lot of chocolate to be stashed away ready for Christmas – or to be eaten now.
The bargain buy was shared by one shopper on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains Facebook group.
Since then, customers in Southampton, Cardiff and London have replied to the post saying they’ve also been emailed about the mega tins.
But it appears the deal is only available in stores, as the online price for the 2kg Quality Street tub is £14.89, which is £6.51 more expensive.
According to HotUKDeals, the reduced price tins are available in all 29 Costco warehouses from today.
We’ve asked Costco to confirm this and we’ll update this article when we get a response.
In the meantime, it’s worth calling up beforehand to check if your local is stocking the deal.
You can find your nearest Costco, as well as all the contact information you’ll need, by using the online store locator.
The Sun has also asked if there’s a maximum or minimum number of tins each customer can buy.
For online orders, shoppers must buy a minimum of two Quality Street tubs.
If you haven’t done so already, to shop at Costco you need to sign up for a subscription.
It costs £15 for an online account – or as an individual you’d pay £33.60 a year.
This Costco deal is the cheapest price we’ve found for the 2kg tins, with the next best price coming in from Amazon at £13.35.
However, if that’s a bit too much chocolate for you, shoppers can buy 650g tubs of Quality Street for £4 in Asda.

You might be shocked to know Christmas chocolate selection boxes have shrunk by FIFTH in the last five years.
