DreamLeague Season 11 and eGG Network have partnered to broadcast the event live to fans across Southeast Asia. Also known as the Dota 2 Stockholm Major, Corsair DreamLeague began last week and is currently in the playoff stage, which concludes in a Grand Final on March 24.
“Our love for Dota 2 fans from the SEA region has only grown over the years as we see the passion with which they support their local teams and players,” said DreamHack Chief Product Officer Michael Van Driel. “This partnership with eGG Network will allow more fans in this region to watch the best Dota 2 professionals playing their hearts out to prove they are the best.”
Corsair DreamLeague is one of several stops along the Dota Pro Circuit, a series of regional events managed by Dota 2’s developer, Valve Corporation . The primary role of the DPC is to lay down a pathway to Valve’s biggest esports tournament, The International. The DPC has stops in all major regions, with DreamLeague Season 11 being the third stop in Europe for the 2018-19 season.
It’s also the first European stop this season to have Major status, and the first Major ever to be held in Stockholm, Sweden. As a Major, it will feature 16 of the top Dota 2 teams competing for a share of a $1M USD prize pool.
Corsair DreamLeague Season 11 also stands out due to a recent partnership between the event’s organizer DreamHack and technology company SAP. This partnership will allow for real-time predictions of game events added to broadcasts using analytics generated from the SAP HANA platform.

This partnership with eGG Network will mean a broadened reach for the event. Based in Southeast Asia, the eGG Network broadcasts dedicated esports and gaming programming to eight countries—Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, and Australia. Notably, this broadcasting has included several previous DPC events including DreamLeague Season 10 and the Chongqing Major, which saw a surge in viewership.
eGG Network also recently partnered with independent esports organizer PGL to host a stop in Singapore for EA Sports’ FIFA 19 Global Series.
