Corrie’s Sue Cleaver cashing in on TV fame by selling weight loss tips

The actress, 55, is charging fans £30 a pop to record a video message.

It comes after she managed to shed an incredible three stone.

Scores of fans have been inspired by her slimmed-down figure and are desperate to know how she did it.

So Sue, who plays Eileen Grimshaw, is offering to reveal her methods on the Celeb Video Messages website.

An industry source said: “Sue is offering fans the chance to learn how she achieved her amazing weight loss.

“She hopes the videos will be inspiring. Sue just wants to make sure people lose weight in a good and healthy fashion and thought it was a great idea to help share her journey, too.”

A string of other Corrie stars are also charging for video messages on the site, including Simon Gregson and Charlie Lawson, who play Steve and Jim McDonald. Our source said: “Hundreds of celebs sell videos on this site to earn a bit of extra cash.

“But most are has-beens who are struggling to get telly work. So it’s surprising these Corrie stars are doing it when they must be earning decent salaries.”

The website says: “Connect with your favourite celebrities through personal video messages.” Bosses have been promoting Sue’s services on social media.

A Facebook post says: “Get an inspiring update on how she lost weight.” The site is said to have been getting “plenty of
requests” in recent weeks.

Sue made headlines last year when she showed off her weight loss at a TV awards. Pals have claimed she did it by ditching gluten and eating less sugar.

Former Hollyoaks and Love Island star Paul Danan is also selling personalised video messages. For around £30 he will wish fans a happy birthday or record a voicemail message.
