Tracy Shaw, who played Maxine Peacock on Coronation Street, appeared on Loose Women today – her first TV interview in over a decade.
The actress starred in the soap between May 1995 and January 2003, before getting bumped off by serial killer Richard Hillman, played by Brian Capron.
Taking a trip down memory lane, Tracy spoke about her time on the cobbles with the Loose Women panelists.
Speaking to Carol McGiffin, Nadia Sawalha, Kaye Adams and Andrea McLean, the mother-of-two opened up about her acting career.
Marking 16 years since that fateful night, Tracy graced the small screen once again to discuss her role and grisly end.
She said: “There are brilliant writers on Corrie. We were always having a good laugh on that show.
“I went back recently to see some people and it was quite breathtaking.”
Andrea revealed to the audience that Maxine Peacock’s death scene brought in a whopping 17.5 million viewers.

Talking about Maxine’s murder, the Loose Women panelist said: “Brian Capron once said his phone flew out of his pocket and landed into your bum cheek.”
Tracy replied: “He’s such a fibber.”
And with that Andrea welcomed Brain into the studio much to the delight of Tracey who flung her arms around him and exclaimed “I haven’t seen you in ages!”

After hugging and air kissing, Brian sat round to recount the phone/ bum cheek fiasco.
He said: “You had trousers on the time and I came off and the crew were all laughing.
“I said ‘what you laughing at?’ and once I had cleared the scene they told me to have a look and there was the phone on your bum cheek!”
Kaye Adams quipped: “Have you come here to ask for it back?”
