Coronavirus: Wu-Tang Clan distribute thousands of warning prints across New York

Wu-Tang Clan are distributing prints covered with coronavirus health advice in a bid to educate people about ways to stay safe.

The print reads: “Protect your neck against the coronavirus.”

It continues: “Wash hands… Use mask properly… Touch nothing… Avoid large crowds… Never touch your face with unclean hands… Go to the hospital if you have severe symptoms.”

They say that people should “feel free” to distribute the print around their own cities.

Fans reacted to the print on Twitter by changing Wu-Tang Clan lyrics to include warnings about the pandemic: “Coronavirus ruins everything around me / Wash your, wash your hands y’all…” said one.

Another wrote: “Have a blessed quarantine.”

Since the outbreak, musicians have been urging their fans to stay inside.

Ariana Grande called out “dangerous and selfish” fans who are not taking the pandemic seriously. She was joined in her statements by Taylor Swift, who urged her own fans to self-isolate.

“Guys, I follow you online and I love you guys so much and need to express my concern that things aren’t being taken seriously enough right now,” Swift wrote.

A number of music events have been cancelled or delayed as a result of the coronavirus outbreak, while film and television production has gone into lockdown around the world.
