Coronavirus: Trump confirms he has taken test but temperature is 'totally normal'

Donald Trump has taken a test to see if he has coronavirus, he confirmed this afternoon.

But the US President conceded he does not know when the results will be returned.

And he added his temperature was taken and was “totally normal”.

Speaking at a press conference today, Mr Trump also confirmed the US’ travel ban on most European countries will include Britain and Ireland.

“We’re looking at it very seriously, yeah, because they’ve had a little bit of activity unfortunately, so we’re going to be looking at that,” the 73-year-old said.

“We actually already have looked at it and that is going to be announced.”
