Tom Hanks’ children Colin and Chet have spoken out since it was made public the star tested positive for coronavirus.
The Oscar-winning actor and his wife Rita Wilson, both 63, have been quarantined Down Under where he was filming upcoming Elvis Presley biopic on the Gold Coast, in Australia.
His two children Chet – whom he shares with wife Rita – and Colin – whom he shares with his late ex-wife Samantha Lewis – have broken their silence on the couple being diagnosed with the killer virus.
Truman and Elizabeth Hanks have yet to break their silence.
Chet updated fans on his parents’ condition when he filmed a piece to camera which he uploaded on his Instagram grid.
In the short clip, the tattooed hunk said he had just got off the phone from speaking to his parents.
He said: “Yeah it’s true my parents got coronavirus, crazy. They’re both down in Australia right now. My dad is shooting a movie down there.

“Got off the phone with them both of them. They are fine. They’re not that sick, they’re not tripping, they’re going through health precautions obviously.”
The actor’s son thanked everyone for their concern but he stressed he was sure his parents’ diagnosis wasn’t anything for people to worry about.
“I dont think it’s anything to be too worried about. I appreciate everyone’s concern and the well wishes. I think it will be alright everyone stay safe out there much love.”

Tom’s other son Colin said he was overwhelmed by the support from adoring fans as he reassured fans his parents were being well looked after in Australia.
Colin was confident his parents will make a full recovery from the killer virus.
He said he has been in constant contact with his parents even though he hasn’t seen them in more than three weeks because he has been residing in Los Angeles.

He said: “We are so grateful for the outpouring of support from everyone. My parents are receiving excellent care in Australia and are doing well (and in good spirits) given the circumstances.
“Despite the fact that I’m in LA and haven’t seen them in over three weeks, we have been in constant contact and am confident they will make a full recovery.”
Tom and his wife Rita made it public they had tested positive with the virus amid the outbreak sweeping the globe.
In a statement, they said: “We were tested for coronavirus and were found to be positive. Well, now. What to do next? The Medical Officials have protocols that must be followed.
“We Hanks’ will be tested, observed, and isolated for as long as public health and safety requires. Not much more to it than a one-day-at-a-time approach, no?
“We’ll keep the world posted and updated. Take care of yourselves. Hanx!”
