Coronavirus sees Strictly stars AJ Pritchard and Dianne Buswell cancel tours


The coronavirus pandemic has claimed a number of dance tours that were scheduled for Strictly Come Dancing stars.

Dianne Buswell has announced that her show with Strictly dance partner and now boyfriend, Joe Sugg, has been postponed while AJ Pritchard has said that he won’t be touring with brother Curtis due to the current health crisis.

The Strictly stars were joined by Giovani Di Prima, who said that he would not be going on tour this year after all.

The Joe and Dianne Show has been eagerly anticipated by fans of the YouTube star and Strictly’s Dianne.

The pair shared a joint announcement on social media on Tuesday, which confirmed the expected news that the tour would no longer go ahead but they expected to reschedule the dates for another time.

The Australian dancer told fans that it was an “incredibly hard decision to make”.

Dianne added that they are planning to reschedule as soon as possible so that those with tickets can either exchange for a new date or get a refund.

Dianne finished on Instagram by writing: “We love you all and look forward to seeing you in person again soon. In the meantime, please keep yourselves healthy and safe. Xxx.”

AJ shared the news on Instagram that his AJ Live tour had also fallen victim to the COVID-19 spread.

Writing on Instagram, AJ shared: “This is a message to all of our amazing fans and specifically those who have tickets to our remaining ‘AJ Live’ Tour Dates.

“Given today’s Government advice surrounding the Coronavirus, we are postponing our remaining four shows. Those locations are Guildford (17th March), Cardiff (18th March), Bournemouth (20th March) and Torquay (21st March). To say we are gutted is an understatement.”

AJ continued: “We have had the most amazing tour performing for you all. However health and safety must come first for you, for us and our incredible cast.

Meanwhile,Graziano Di Prima said that he was “absolutely gutted” that his Havana Nights Dream Tour would be cancelled.

The Italian dancer announced that fans could get refunds on their tickets and wished them all “love and health in this difficult time”.
