Google’s new world of cloud gaming is like a streaming service for video games — offering (broadly) unlimited access to a mix of titles such as Red Dead Redemption 2, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Rise of the Tomb Raider for £8.99 a month (although top-range games require an extra fee). You can flip between TV, laptop and phone without having to pause the game, and there’s a stream button for sending your gameplay to YouTube.
