Ada Nicodemou admits she feels ‘anxious and scared’ as Home and Away continues filming during the COVID-19 pandemic

Ada Nicodemou is feeling ‘anxious and scared’ about COVID-19 as Home and Away continues filming in Sydney despite the global pandemic.

On Tuesday, the 42-year-old actress shared a behind-the-scenes video to Instagram in which she discussed her fears about the health crisis.

The fact she was recording in her dressing room suggests that Home and Away is still in production despite the government encouraging social distancing.

There are 556 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Australia as of Wednesday afternoon, with six people already dead.

As shelves continue to be stripped bare by panic buyers, fights and unruly behaviour in supermarkets have become commonplace across the country.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced on Wednesday a ban on gatherings of more than 100 people to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

He also advised against all overseas travel – marking the first time in Australia’s history that the government has told citizens not to go to any country.
