Elizabeth Hurley has declared she’s going to remain holed up at her country estate as the coronavirus outbreak continues to rage.
The model-turned-actress, 54, admitted she’s taking no chances as fears continues to grow over the deadly bug.
In a post on Instagram , she shared a snap of herself wearing a glamorous frock and urged fans to follow her lead and “stay safe”.
She wrote: “Why go out when you can stay in? Why buy new dresses if you can squeeze yourself into one you’ve had for 15 years? #staysafe#homeiswheretheheartis .”
The post comes days after the actress shared some country-themed pictures of herself as she told her followers she’s turning into a homebody.
She wrote: “My sister & I had a favourite book growing up called ‘The Country Mouse’.
“It was about a mouse who dreamed of going to the glamorous city and whooping it up; she finally got there but had a terrifying time and fled back home saying (cue a West Country accent).
“‘I’d rather have a simple life than dine on riches and live in fear’…. Viva the Country Mouse.
“I’m turning into her.”
