Coronation Street's David Platt 'will stab rapist in prison' in brutal revenge


The luck of the Platt family is not looking to get better anytime soon.

The Coronation Street residents have had year from hell between break ups, deaths and theft drama.

But fans of the ITV soap are set to see an even darker side to David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) who is currently behind bars thanks to his brother Nick Tilsley (Ben Price).

The Sun claims that viewers will see a riot at the prison where David is being held.

Fans were shocked when Josh raped David last year

During the clash, the father-of-two is set to stab his rapist, Josh Tucker.

David manages to call Shona from inside the jail during the chaotic scenes.

He tells his wife-to-be that Josh has been stabbed but when Shona asks him who did it, David doesn’t reply.

Josh befriended David last year before drugging and sexually assaulting him.

David is arrested

The vile sex offender was left blind for life after a brutal attack when another male victim, Ethan, found date rape drug GBH on Josh after being tipped off by vicar Billy Mayhew.

Despite this David still couldn’t find peace until he’d got Josh to admit to what he had done.

The sexual encounter led to David fearing he may have contracted HIV after seeing a poster while visiting his grandmother, Audrey.

It was the first time in the soap’s history that a male rape had been covered on screen.

Soap fans were left cheering with the hairdresser finally got closure but now things are set to get a whole lot darker.

David was traumatised after being raped by Josh

Coronation Street returns on ITV on Friday at 7.30pm.
